    Ruth continues her studies and training with highly respected instructors and teachers, ensuring she is always up-to-date on lastest developments and research in her fields of expertise and is currently setting up research projects investigating the benefits of Sound Therapy. Ruth was first introduced to the martial art of Judo at aged 8 and began practicing Yoga and learning about energy (Qi) and its health benefits in 1994. She has been practicing and studying Tai Chi and Qigong intensely since 2006. Her interest in these subjects inspired her to qualify as a multidisciplinary Complementary Therapist and a Tai Chi Qigong Health Instructor.

    Ruth has been passionate about nature and the outdoors from a very young age and has a deep appreciation for the simple things in life, she enjoys camping and being outdoors as often as possible. Ruth has taught the ancient art of friction fire lighting at festivals and with the Scouts.

    Ruth also enjoys playing many musical instruments, producing and recording her own music at Dao Natural Music, she started playing the guitar and 'air drums' at 12 and loves experimenting with anything that makes a sound! Ruth is also an artist specialising in stained glass at Blue Skies Glass Studio.
